Day 1: Welcome and Exploration of Lord Buddha's Birthplace

- Our manager and cultural tour guide will personally receive them, who will provide a thorough briefing about the lodge facilities and the planned afternoon programme.

A delicious lunch will be served inside the comfortable confines of our dining hall or, weather permitting, outside in the verdant garden.
Afternoon Excursion
- Post-lunch, guests will embark on an excursion to the birthplace of Lord Buddha at the revered Maya Devi Temple.
- Time permitting, a visit to the tranquil Peace Pagoda Stupa, also known as the Japanese Monastery, will be arranged.
Dinner
- The day concludes with a delectable dinner, where guests can relish a variety of dishes while reminiscing about the day's experiences.
Day 2: Full-Day Exploration of Lumbini Development Trust Area
Breakfast
- Begin the day with a nutritious and hearty breakfast to fuel your upcoming adventures.
Morning Excursion (Eastern Monastic Zone)
- Embark on a half-day excursion to the Eastern Monastic Zone within the Lumbini Development Trust area.
- Highlights include visiting the Royal Thai Vihar (Thailand), Mahabodhi of Calcutta, and the Myanmar Monastery (Myanmar).
- Guests will also witness the Eternal Peace Flame and explore the insightful exhibits at the Lumbini Museum.
Lunch
Enjoy a mid-day meal either inside our cosy dining hall or in the fresh outdoors within the beautiful garden, weather permitting.
Afternoon Excursion (Western Monastic Zone)
- Post-lunch, the exploration continues with a half-day tour of the Western Monastic Zone within the Lumbini Development Trust area.
- Key stops include the Chinese Monastery (China), The Great Lotus Stupa (Tara Foundation), and the Lumbini International Research Institute (LIRI).
Dinner
- After an enriching day of exploration, wind down with a delicious dinner, indulging in a variety of mouth-watering dishes.
Day 3: Morning Exploration and Departure
Morning Stroll
- Begin your day with a leisurely stroll around the camp.
- Explore our habitat, home to a rich diversity of lowland farmland birds.
- Our camp, spread over a sprawling 4 hectares, boasts a mix of woodland, grassland, and marshes, providing a unique ecosystem for birdwatching.
Breakfast
- Enjoy a wholesome breakfast to energize yourself for the journey ahead.
Departure
- After breakfast, we bid farewell, marking the end of this memorable journey.
